Breathe and Stay Calm

When life’s a storm, and winds grow strong,
Just breathe in deep, where you belong.
Let silence fill the air you take,
And find the peace no fear can shake.

In every breath, the world slows down,
No need to wear a heavy crown.
Release the weight that burdens you,
And see the sky return to blue.

Stay calm within, don’t chase the race,
The quiet heart will find its pace.
With steady hands and open mind,
You’ll leave the rush and peace you’ll find.

So breathe, let go, no need to fight,
In stillness waits the softest light.
For in the calm, life’s clearer way,
You’ll face the dawn of a brighter day.

It's honest and true. I believe we all need this once in a while.

Poem: The Misunderstood Monster

  The Misunderstood Monster He is patched-up strange, a walking fright, With stitches showing and skin so tight! One eye is too big, the other small, He lumbers down the empty hall. Don’t make him mad, or else beware, He’ll give you quite the spooky scare! He has read some books, so he’s super smart, But “normal life” is not his art. Just wants a friend, but gets a scream, Like he’s the villain of a meme. Kids run away when he says “Hi!” Guess charm was never his strong guy. Abandoned by his “dad,” poor dude, Now all he’s got is an attitude. A monster? Sure, but feel his pain, Because people treat him with disdain. So if you see him on the street, Just wave, who knows?   A few jokes #2   What do you call an alligator in a vest? An investigator...     What do you call a bear with no teeth? A gummi bear...     What do you call a sleeping bull? A bulldozer... Why don't oysters donate to charity? Because they are shellfish!     Why did the frog take the bus to work? Because his car got toad...     Why are fish so smart? Because they live in schools.     My fridge is a terrible secret keeper. It keeps spilling the beans...     I tried to organize my socks, but they refused to tow the line... And that sucks!
